Hose Bib Replacement

Went into crawl and removed the current hose bib connection and popped a hole through the joist to accommodate a more seamless connection. Pushed the new 1/2 crimp pex through the existing hole and installed a crimp coupling. Went to the exterior of the home and crimped the new hose bib onto the line. Turned the water back on and checked the hose bib connection and crawl for leaks. No leaks apparent. Then went outside and siliconed around where new hose bib is. Secured it to the home using 3" wood screws. Tested, and it works perfect.
